The objectives of Japan Space Systems (hereinafter "J-spacesystems") are to ensure the national safety and security, the sound expansion of national economy, and the contribution for the global society by research, development, global cooperation, popularization and education, personnel training in the area of 'space systems'; satellite systems, launching systems, facilities for satellite operations, remote sensing technologies by satellites, and space environment utilization in order to promote the development of pioneering technologies in space and the utilization of the space technologies, and to contribute the promotion of preserving the earth's environment, resources, and energy, developing space industries.


In order to accomplish the objectives ,J-spacesystems conducts the following activities;

  1. 1) To promote the researches, the developments, and the utilization of 'space systems'
  2. 2) To promote commercialization, globalization and improvement of, global competitiveness regarding 'space systems'
  3. 3) To promote international cooperation regarding 'space systems'
  4. 4) To promote popularization and education, and personnel training regarding 'space systems'
  5. 5) Others, especially necessary for achieving the J-spacesystems's objectives
  6. 6) These items stated above include activities in Japan and abroad.
